Profile
Adrian has a strong background in natural resources management. He has five (5) years non-profit non-governmental organization management experience with leadership positions in local, national, regional and international levels. This includes him being National Coordinator for the Caribbean Youth Environment Network Jamaica as well as being the Latin America and the Caribbean Representative on the Steering Committee of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) and Projects, Events and Competition for the Commonwealth Youth Climate Network (CYCN). He has also played a role as a team lead for the GYBN delegation to the UN 13th Conference of the Parties on Biodiversity covering topics such as pollination, synthetic biology, and wildlife management especially regards to livelihood preservation. He is also experienced in project management where he has served in leadership positions for social and environmental projects which have impacted the lives of Jamaican and the Caribbean people. Adrian is not only a trained Geographer and Zoologist, but also possesses expertise in social entrepreneurship, vulnerability capacity assessment, project management and research. Through his vast amount of experience voluntary/philanthropic efforts, he has garnered accolades such as Exceptional Youth Leader and Outstanding Climate Change Initiative.
